The ultimate goal of human exploration is to get to Mars
The crew will need a water source to use when they get there
I'm helping lead a mission concept to find it
Four space agencies have agreed to work together planning it
Canada would provide a radar instrument to map subsurface ice
The goal is to choose water-rich sites where the astronauts could land safely
